The author - Ivan Montis

Ivan Montis is a Researcher and Consultant on media innovation strategies and from june 2010 he is General Manager at Servizi San Paolo, the internet company of Gruppo Editoriale San Paolo. From 2004 to 2010 he was Head of the Web Division at Marketing Multimedia (www.mmm.it), a Web consultancy and development agency in Milan (Italy). From 1997 to 2004 he was Senior Consultant in FullSIX Italia (www.fullsix.com).

As an expert of editorial and marketing issues related to New Media he has managed the development of the web projects for important clients from media companies to telecom and mobile operators, and public administration.

As professor on new media he is in charge of the course "Nuovi Media e Comunicazione Crossmediale“ (New Media and Crossmedia Communication") at the Università Cattolica of Milan.

He collaborates with the “Osservatorio della Comunicazione” directed by professor Fausto Colombo, Università Cattolica of Milan.

• Co-author of the book ”Atlante della comunicazione”, (Hoepli, 2005) edited by Fausto Colombo) where he wrotes the items related to Digital Television.
• Author of the book “Le nuove professioni del Web” handbook about Web Content Management, published in 2001 by Editoriale Carocci, one Italy’s leading university publisher.
• Co-author of the book “Internet e la Tv” publisher Rai (the italian public broadcaster) and Eri, 2000.
